This policy explains what information Posteryzr collects when you use Posteryzr, how we use it, and the choices you have. We only collect what we need to create great content for your business.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account details — your name, email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider).
- Business details — business name, type, website, location, phone number, services, brand voice and goals.
- Content — logos, photos and other files you upload, and posts you create or edit.
- Messages — what you send us through the contact form or by email.
Information we collect automatically
- Website content — when you enter your website, we read its public pages to understand your business.
- Usage and device data — such as pages visited, actions taken, IP address and browser type, used for security, rate limiting and improving the Service.
Payment information
Payments are handled by Stripe. We don’t receive or store your full card number; we keep a customer reference and your subscription status.
2. How we use your information
- To create, schedule and manage social media content for your business;
- To run your account, process payments and provide support;
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and enforce usage limits;
- To understand how the Service is used and improve it;
- To send service messages, and — only if you agree — product updates (you can unsubscribe anytime).
3. AI processing
To generate content, we send relevant business details and instructions to our AI provider, OpenAI, through its API. Under OpenAI’s API terms, this data isn’t used to train its models by default. We don’t sell your information or share it with advertisers.
4. Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run Posteryzr, under contracts that limit how they can use it:
- Supabase — database, authentication and file storage;
- OpenAI — AI text and image generation;
- Stripe — payments and billing;
- Resend — transactional email;
- Our hosting provider — serving the website and app;
- Social media platforms you connect — to publish the posts you schedule.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a merger or acquisition, in which case we’ll notify you.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to keep the Service secure. We don’t use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we’ll update this policy.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where we must keep it longer for legal, tax or security reasons.
7. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct or download the personal information we hold about you;
- Delete your account and personal information;
- Object to or limit certain processing, or withdraw consent;
- Opt out of marketing emails at any time.
To make a request, email hello@posteryzr.com. We’ll respond within 30 days and won’t treat you differently for exercising your rights.
8. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your data and will notify you of a breach where required by law.
9. Children
Posteryzr is for businesses and isn’t intended for anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
10. International transfers
Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
11. Changes to this policy
We’ll post any changes here and update the date above. For significant changes, we’ll notify you by email or in the app.
